Overall, Tora Ramen is a must-visit destination for ramen lovers in Boston. With its exceptional dishes, friendly service, and inviting ambiance, you'll find yourself coming back time and time again for a taste of their delicious offerings.

I've tried way too many ramens shops in the Boston area and Tora definitely stands out as one of the best. Like most other shops in this area, the dining area is very small, so expect to wait if you're coming for weekend dinner. Also - it is cash only! They have an ATM inside though in case you forget. The servers here are very nice and have us enough time to review the menu, without making us feel pressured. We ordered some takoyaki and then two bowls of ramen. The takoyaki came out after our ramen (which was a bit unexpected) but it was tasty. My only critique was that the octopus was a bit hard/chewy. The ramen itself though was absolutely delicious. I ordered the miso ramen and it was incredible. The broth and the pork in particular were amazing and I couldn't get enough. I wasn't a fan of my partner's black garlic ramen, mostly just because of the noodle size and the overwhelming taste of garlic (to be expected, but it was just too much for me). I'd come back here any day for their miso ramen though!

Absolutely delicious over and over again. Have come here multiple times and it has been consistently amazing every time. Straight forward ramen place with good sake and one of the best ramen's I've had around Boston. The Spicy Miso Ramen is a must-get if you like a solid spicy kick with tender pork belly. Broth is incredibly flavorful, egg is cooked perfectly, and the noodles are soft. Perfect after running around Chinatown in the cold. Very lively and busy place during the day. This place is small so it can get quite busy, but they are very fast with their service. Only cash here, ATM inside with a fee!

Simply the best ramen I've ever had. Very small restaurant with seating for around 20. It fills up quickly. I had the Tantan special. Yellow noodles in a sesame broth, ground pork, corn, onion, Scallion, chili oil and sesame seeds. It was served hot and was a little spring and incredibly tasty. Easily worth the $18. Cash only here. I can't wait to return.

So good! This really hit the spot on a cold day after walking and exploring. This place is cash only. They do have an ATM, but there is a service fee. Ordered the tan tan ramen and this was delicious. The soup was piping hot and very flavorful. The corn was a nice touch. Everything was perfectly seasoned! Would come back again.

Stumbled upon this ramen spot while walking in Chinatown and so happy I did, outstanding ramen. Came in for a solo meal, relatively small place but I was seated immediately, and service was very fast. I tried the kuro (black garlic tonkotsu ramen) and it was extremely flavorful and delicious. Highly highly recommend the ramen and would definitely come back! Definitely the best ramen I had on my trip compared to Hokkaido Ramen near Harvard area.

Pretty good ramen! There was about a 20 minute wait outside which is not ideal but not bad at all. Inside is pretty small and simple but food cane very fast. There are other places I prefer but I would still come back due to great location. Drink menu is also nice.

I wouldn't say this is the best ramen I've ever had, but this is one of the best in Boston and I've been here a few times to confirm it's consistency. It's very small with a few tables and counter seating by the kitchen. The wait varied depending on time of day, but the service was always quick and the staff were very attentive. For starters, I tried their kuro karaage, but it was not crispy at all and quite underwhelming. I ordered it the first time and never again so I can't comment on whether they've improved over the years. I've tried the Karashiro (Spicy Original Tonkotsu) and Kuro (Black Garlic Tonkotsu) and both were very good. I preferred the Karashiro and their torched pork belly over the thin slices of chashu. I generally prefer to be able to customize the ramen in terms of fat, noodle thickness/firmness, and level of spice, but this place doesn't do that. Although they don't offer that here, their ramen is very rich and flavorful as is by their standards without being too heavy. The egg was a perfect soft boil and the noodles were cooked just enough for my liking. This place is cash only, but they have an ATM at the doorway you can use. If you're looking for some dessert or sweets after, check out some of the bakeries or boba tea shops nearby within Chinatown.

SO GOOD! One of the best bowls of ramen I've had in Boston. It's a small ramen shop with some table and counter seating. It was super busy but my friend and I were able to get two seats at the counter. We were served right away. I went with the black garlic ramen. It was so tasty and fresh. There was plenty of pork in the bowl and the toppings were great. It was cash only, but there are some ATMs in the area.

One of my favorite ramen spots in the city! Their shoyu ramen is so flavorful and the perfect solution to a cold Boston day. Seating is pretty limited in the restaurant so either get there early before the main rush times or be prepared to wait. Located in Chinatown, this restaurant is cash-only so be prepared for that as well (there's an ATM in the building too). Personally, I can't leave Boston without coming here at least once! Highly highly recommend

Very good ramens! Small spot and cash-only. I enjoyed the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with thinner noodles. The broths were so nice. The Shoyu one had a hint of truffle in the broth which was a nice surprise.
